Le 30 Octobre 2018 près de San Diego (Californie), après une conférence sur ses deux derniers livres avec Jérôme Douzelet, dont « The Great Health Scam » traduit en anglais, le Pr. Gilles-Eric Séralini a reçu à la Westreich Foundation des mains de Zen Honeycutt présidente de Moms Across America le Prix « Healthy Communities Hero Award » 2018, « for your extraordinary courage and commitment to create health and freedom for all » (pour son courage extraordinaire et son engagement pour promouvoir la santé et la liberté pour tous).

Cité de très nombreuses fois dans les Monsanto Papers qui ont révélé grâce à la justice en 2017 comment il avait été frauduleusement attaqué pour sa très complète étude de 2012, qui a fait le tour du monde sur les risques des OGM et du Roundup sur la santé, aujourd’hui confirmée, il a gagné sept fois en diffamation contre des lobbys en France, et a aussi reçu le Prix International des Lanceurs d’Alerte en 2015 (Federation of German Scientists) et le Prix Théo Colborn 2016 (USA) pour ses recherches en santé environnementale. Il est aujourd’hui un des chercheurs qui a le plus publié sur le sujet dans le monde et dans les meilleures revues scientifiques.

He is today one of the most published researchers on this subject in the world (effects of GMOs and pesticides on health) and in the best scientific journals.
